The insight today

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6).

Some people make their lives difficult by living according to their natural, fleshly instincts. Those fleshly instincts are what we call “fallen instincts.” In other words, they’re based on the fallen nature of man. Fleshly instincts can’t help you. They may take you a long way, but they’ll never take you all the way.

It’s easy for some people to pray through their natural instincts when they need help. They cry, “Oh God, please help me! I need some help.” You need to recognize that we’re in a spiritual kingdom that operates with definite principles. To be ignorant of these principles will lead to frustration and despondency. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” (Hosea 4:6).

Understand this: when you were born again, you were translated from the domain of darkness—the kingdom of this world—into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. You live in that supernatural kingdom, and you’ve got to operate from there. Though you’re in the world, you’re not of this world. Philippians 3:20 (MSG) tells us that “…there’s far more to life for us. We’re citizens of high heaven...” therefore, be conscious of your origin and identity, and operate by supernatural principles.

Jesus said the one who’s born again is a mystery to the world (John 3:8). The principles by which we operate aren’t available to this world. We see and think differently. We don’t talk according to our experiences, what we see or feel. We pray, talk and act according to what the Word says. Glory to God!

I think it's better if we can confess and say ;
I’m not moved by what I feel, see or perceive through the senses! I live in, and by the Word! I’m triumphant by the Word, making progress with giant strides. Halleluiah!

 1 Corinthians 2:14 CEV That’s why only someone who has God’s Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn’t have God’s Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish.

OH Lord my Father help me live according to your word and walk in your spirit exploring your kingdom through the power of the Holy Ghost by going through your word day and night in Jesus name. Amen.
